How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
Option 1: Measure an Existing Ring
-
Choose a ring that fits the intended finger perfectly.
-
Measure the inside diameter with a ruler (in millimeters).
-
Use the chart above to match it to your US ring size.
Option 2: String or Paper Method
-
Cut a thin strip of paper or string.
-
Wrap it around the base of your finger where the ring will sit.
-
Mark the point where the ends meet.
-
Measure the strip with a ruler (in millimeters).
-
Compare the measurement with the inside circumference column in the chart.
Option 3: Printable Ring Chart (Optional)
You can also use a printable chart to place an existing ring on top of circles until you find the matching size. (Make sure your printer is set to 100% scale).
Tips for Best Accuracy
-
Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest.
-
Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers shrink slightly.
-
If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one for comfort.
-
Keep in mind that wider rings may feel tighter — consider sizing up by half a size.
